Idea to Outline: A Four-Week Screenwriting Class

If you have a story idea that you’re ready to take to outline, this class is for you.

Nine out of ten writers fail at the premise stage. They have an idea, rush to complete it without a proper outline, and then wonder how the hell to fix this mess of a script. Most of the time they’re not even sure what their story is really about. Or, they have a great idea, but can’t execute the story to live up to the concept. Don’t fall into these traps!

In this class, we will work through your premise to ensure you’re working with the best idea possible. Then, we will break your entire story, scene by scene. We will work thoroughly through your character arcs, plot, and story, with a heavy focus on both structure and theme. By week four, you’ll have a foolproof outline detailing your script — the same type of outline you’ll be expected to write on a professional level.

This class comes with the added bonus of written feedback on your outline to be delivered within two weeks of class ending.
